In order to offer the services out of the reserved area under market conditions, to meet the customer needs and to offer more qualified, efficient and productive service to increase the customer satisfaction, PTT Cargo service has started to be offered as of 03.07.2008. 

DDDS (Door-to-Door Delivery Service) is currently been offered in 32 provinces and 18 districts distribution boundries, and the number of districts will be increased later.

DDDS will still be offered between 32 provinces and 18 districts.   

By means of applications made via internet and telephone, collection of PTT Cargo, EMS items, registerered small packages are made at the sender’s address. For this purpose, to deal with the applications made via telephone, PTT Cargo 169 service telephone has been installed in all our provinces.

Collection of PTT Cargo, EMS items, registerered small packages are made at the sender’s address, and a standard meagre fare is charged as “Fee for Collection at the Address” from PTT Cargo and EMS without regarding the weight. This fee is not charged from the senders who post 5 or more than 5 EMS items or Cargos at one time and from the corporate customers.

During the collection of cargos of which destination is in the center of the province, the estimated delivery date and time is indicated in the receipt which will be given to the sender and on the cargo itself.

The PTT Cargos which will be delivered within the province or district distribution area where it is posted, are charged a lower price than the cargos posted to other destinations. Other PTT cargos are collected with the same price to every part of the country as it was before.

Additional discounts have been made in the Bulk Postal Items Price Discount Tariff.

The tariff applied for EMS for delivery at the address is also applied for PTT Cargo.

The cargos and EMS items of which the destination is abroad, are also collected from the sender’s address.

For the items which will be posted from the PTT workplaces, postal cheque owners are able to pay the postal charge from their postal cheque account on demand. 

Both for the collections made from the senders’s address and from the PTT workplaces, our customers have the chance to pay via mobile and fixed POS systems.

The information of delivery or non-delivery is started to be sent to the customer via short message (SMS) or e-mail free of charge.

The information of delivery or non-delivery is sent to the telephone or mobile phone (GSM) of the customer on demand.

For the Urgent and VIP PTT Cargo, Small Package, EMS and DDDS which are posted within 5 days before the religious festivals, christmas, mother’s, father’s, valentine’s days, a discount is made in a fixed ratio. The bulk postal items which are posted in the amount indicated in the Bulk Postal Items Price Discount Tariff, in accordance with these periods and according to the types of postal items can also benefit from the additional discounts. 

The cargos up the 50 kg. can be delivered in the addresses of the addressees, the cargos weighting 50 kg. and more are accepted in case the customers bring them to the postal departure point where they are present and receive them from the postal destination point.

17 types of packages (box, sachet) made in different sizes and from different materials are at the disposal of our customers during the collection.
